We have built a comprehensive curated and conditioned database of both soft and hard magnetic materials. This will be useful for designers of electric machines. Our database has been integrated into leading design software and is being used by major electric machine manufacturers.
If you have data on magnetic materials that are not yet in our database, we invite you to let us publish it so that electrical designers can use it. We typically smooth measured B(H) data, and test if it can be stretched to saturation flux density. If stretchable, we will use the smoothed data to determine the saturation flux density and extrapolate it close to saturation. We will share such smoothed and extrapolated data with you before publishing it. Its publication in MagWeb database will help other members of the large engineering community worldwide to use your data. You can contribute your technical data (B-H curves, core loss curves, etc.) in any digital or picture format that you have. Data in Excel or notepad format will make our job easier. If needed we can provide a template data format used by MagWeb.
